Well I've just had a text from Zoe, who was the hostess for a 'canvas kit party' last night, it reads " Morning, many thanks for last night - I had a ball!" Yes it was a great night, thank you to Zoe, Darren and gorgeous little Maddie for inviting me into their wonderful 'disneyfied', funky home, and supplying us with lots of lovely food! As you can see from the pictures Zoe and her friends took the kit to another level!

A big thankyou to my daughter Frankie for helping me out with everything, I couldn't have done it without her!!
Consultants Away day!!
Well what a wonderful weekend we have just had! I managed to farm out my family for the weekend in order to accomodate my lovely crafting friends; Hannah; consultant for Dudley, Steph; consultant for Derby and Rosie consultant for Northhants. My hubby went away to France on a golfing trip, Jamie went to stay at his friends and Frankie and Izzie went to nannies!! I must say a big thank you to all my family for giving up their beds for the night, everyone really appreciated the fact that we could have some real girlie chill out for a whole weekend!!!
Me Steph and Rosie spent the day at my crop in Penkridge, where it was that full I had to take my very unstable decoraters table, any one who was on the Penkridge retreat will remember my table!!! It was a lovely day, Donna showed us how to alter old books and use beeswax for embellishment, pretty fantastic! I didn't actually get any scrappin' done 'cause I was too busy nattering, it's just not like me?! Ha Ha
Then when we got home Hannah joined us after doing a Craft-Ed party in the afternoon, so we all went down the pub and had a jolly old time, we then got back to mine and changed into our PJ's to chill out and craft!! It was such a good night, drinking wine( Hannah!!!!!) eating toast when we got the midnight munchies, listening (and singing to) Robbie and his Swing album, laughing out load to Rosie's dirty jokes and generally having some girlie time!! We finally got to bed just after 2am!
It was such fun having friends round to stay I'm sure it's going to be a regular event!!

Hail !!!!
Oh my god!! we had the most enormous hail storm this afternoon, Izzie and I stood at the window watching it for ages, she asked if we could go and stand in it, but it would have really hurt. So I braved the elements and stuck my arm out of the window with Izzie's dolls bath to catch the hail stones for us to have a play with. They were enormous!!Good Friday!!!!
g down south today to board T.S.John Jerwood. They are supposed to be sailing around the British Isles and down to Jersey and France, but the weather is not being kind to us at the moment, strong winds, risk of snow etc, so I don't know how far he will get to travel. He is really enthusiastic about this trip as he will be doing real naval duties. Have a brillant time, son!!!Penkridge Crop

Easter Bonnet
It was easter bonnet day at nursery today, and my 3 yr old just loved wearing hers. We walked to nursery and she wore her hat all the way there, while mommy picked up a trail of 'chicks' that she was leaving behind! We stopped and chatted to so many strangers on the way, who all were oohing and aahhing over this cute little vision walking down the road. It is days like these that make me take stock of how wonderful it is to be a mommy all over again!! My teenagers won't let me make them easter bonnets anymore!!Thursday, 13 March 2008
Craft-Ed consultants from around the country

Here are some piccies of my wonderful new friends, all fellow craft-ed consultants. Introducing Steph(blue top), who looks after Derby, Hannah(white top), our Dudley consultant. Rosie from Northamptonshire(cheesy grin with Steph) and Emma(another cheesy grin) who travelled to our meeting in the Cotswolds all the way from Plymouth. They are all so lovely, full of tons of enthusiasm for spreading the Craft-Ed word. GO GIRLS!!!
I'm a star!!! (apparently)

Mothers Day!

The best holiday ever!!!

Welcome new Scrappers!!

Well last Thursday, I held a Craft-Ed Scrapbooking party at mine for complete Scrapbook virgins, and they were blown away by how much they enjoyed the evening and it cost them absolutely nothing!! One of my ladies only came to have a social evening out because she really didn't think that being 'creative' was her thing, but as the evening progressed she got totally hooked and engrossed in her page, commenting; "This is so much fun and is so relaxing". She made a FABULOUS 12x12 page and is going to give it to her daughter to put up on her bedroom wall. Another lady completed a LO of her grandsons on an 8x8 page, and was thrilled with the result! She has realised she would like to make a couple of albums; a bragging book of her grandsons and a wedding album for her daughter! So she has booked a party and invited some friends to come to her house next time! This way she gets scrapbooking products for free ( The Hostess Gift) and may also get any products that she buys on the night at a reduced rate. It's all good.Wednesday, 5 March 2008

Education Education Education
Busy busy busy

WEll I'm sorry I haven't posted anything recently, but I have just been so busy! I have had lots of party bookings each week with more and more ladies finding this wonderful hobby so addictive. My weekly crop is taking place in my craft studio every Tues night and I am starting to do childrens workshops, both in school and outside!
It's all so exciting!!!
The LO here tells the story of christmas eve this year when my (just) 3 yr old left her dummies out for Father Christmas alongside his milk and cookies!!! aaahh.
