Zoe's party

Well I've just had a text from Zoe, who was the hostess for a 'canvas kit party' last night, it reads " Morning, many thanks for last night - I had a ball!" Yes it was a great night, thank you to Zoe, Darren and gorgeous little Maddie for inviting me into their wonderful 'disneyfied', funky home, and supplying us with lots of lovely food! As you can see from the pictures Zoe and her friends took the kit to another level!
Maddie was very clever at picking out her moms ticket to win the raffle prize and Vickie was very quick to use the fibres and flowers that came in the raffle prize on her canvas.
The picture on Zoe's canvas was taken 5 minutes before, and printed out on my portable printer, the winning ticket is on there for prosperity!!
Wonderful night, very chilled and Zoe got enough commission from the party sales to order the canvas kit (previous post) for nothing!!

Canvas Kits

This is a photo of my lovely canvas kit from s.e.i that I have just made up! Isn't it just sooo cute? It comes as a complete kit so all you need is the adhesive and the photos, and really takes no time at all, if you would like to get your hands on one, in pink or blue then email me and I'll put an order in for you!

They cost £14-25.

Solihull crop

I went to fantastic new crop in Solihull today! It is run by Morag, Nicki and Audrey. Nicki did a lovely class using Fancy Pants papers and die cuts, not that I actually did any scrappin'. I was much too busy chatting to all the ladies and having a good old nose!!! My friend Tessa came with me (She got lots done) and one of oldest and bestest friends came to visit me as we were in Cheswick Green Village hall, which is apprx 5 mins walk away from her house! Morag, Nicki and Audrey are all very talented scrapbookers , check out their website for details of the crop www.WhatHousework.co.uk. Morags blog is also listed on my fave blogs. Check it out!! Craft Fair

I had a stall at Hill Avenue School's craft fair on Friday and met some lovely ladies. People were very interested to find out more about Scrapbooking and 3 ladies booked parties for themselves!
A big thankyou to my daughter Frankie for helping me out with everything, I couldn't have done it without her!!

Consultants Away day!!

Well what a wonderful weekend we have just had! I managed to farm out my family for the weekend in order to accomodate my lovely crafting friends; Hannah; consultant for Dudley, Steph; consultant for Derby and Rosie consultant for Northhants. My hubby went away to France on a golfing trip, Jamie went to stay at his friends and Frankie and Izzie went to nannies!! I must say a big thank you to all my family for giving up their beds for the night, everyone really appreciated the fact that we could have some real girlie chill out for a whole weekend!!!

Me Steph and Rosie spent the day at my crop in Penkridge, where it was that full I had to take my very unstable decoraters table, any one who was on the Penkridge retreat will remember my table!!! It was a lovely day, Donna showed us how to alter old books and use beeswax for embellishment, pretty fantastic! I didn't actually get any scrappin' done 'cause I was too busy nattering, it's just not like me?! Ha Ha

Then when we got home Hannah joined us after doing a Craft-Ed party in the afternoon, so we all went down the pub and had a jolly old time, we then got back to mine and changed into our PJ's to chill out and craft!! It was such a good night, drinking wine( Hannah!!!!!) eating toast when we got the midnight munchies, listening (and singing to) Robbie and his Swing album, laughing out load to Rosie's dirty jokes and generally having some girlie time!! We finally got to bed just after 2am!

It was such fun having friends round to stay I'm sure it's going to be a regular event!!

Canvas Kit Party

Well we had a lovely evening at Julie's where she chose to do the Canvas kit 'make and take' These are photos of Tracey who is holding her own party in May and Mrs Billingham's canvas which I think turned out fantastically.

Because the kit is so easy and quick to do, everyone also had the chance to make a scrapbook page using my stash. Tracey even played with the Sizzix sidekick and die cut some shapes for her page! This was a first for her as she had never used one before!

Julie was a wonderful host and we were supplied with non- alcoholic wine, tea and scrummy cake! In fact she enjoyed the evening so much she is doing it all over again in June.

Pampered

Well if you have read some of my previous posts you will have come realise I'm a girl who lives the high life. Today I have been totally pampered and had a beautiful manicure and my nails painted.................................... Yes, I know it's not the most perfect flawless finish in the world, but my manicurist is only 3 years old, and I think she did a marvelous job! Especially as she didn't get any on the carpet, the sofa or our clothes. Well done Izzie and does anyone have any nail polish remover?
I am a consultant for Craft-Ed, visit www.craft-ed.net for details of all the wonderful products and projects available directly from me.
